Monday, June 13 @ 7 pm - Peace Network of the Ozarks meeting. Come join the Peace Network as they work to create a more peaceful future.
Tuesday, June 14 @ 6pm - Anarchy Discussion Group. This is the first in a (hopefully!) long series of “lessons” in Anarchy/Anarchism. Each group will be taught/facilitated by a different Radishal. The first session will be a pretty laid back introductory discussion about Anarchy. Please come and join the fun! And if you would like to lead a discussion, let us know!
Wednesday, June 15 @ 7pm - Wicca 101. Come learn the ins-and outs of Wicca with members of Greenleaf Coven.
Thursday, June 16 @ 6-9pm - Womyn's Night. Womyn only please! This will be a time for us to create a womyn’s space, talk about womyn’s issues, and (the most important part!) have fun and create bonds with each other.
Friday, June 17 @ 9pm - My Disco (Australia), El Minotaur, Hospice for the Stars, $5. That’s right friends! My Disco, from Australia (!) will be gracing us with their presence on Friday. Called “the best band in Australia right now hands down” and described variously as “A mathy kind of jazz-core” and “smart punk”, this is one you certainly don’t want to miss. And our apologies for the slightly more expensive cover, but My Disco has significant travel and tour costs that we’re trying to help them cover.
Saturday, June 18 @ 4pm – Movie: “PickAxe.” Calling all eco-defenders! This one is especially for you. Our friends from CrimethInc produced this amazing film/documentary about forest defense activists in Oregon putting their bodies on the line to save ancient forests. Inspiring, eye-opening, and action packed – we promise you’ll love this film.
Special thanks to everyone who came out on Sunday to help us with our table at Pride in the Park! We met some great new people and had a lot of fun!
