Alright, several new things at the radish this week. First, if you want to see a complete list of events happening at the Radish this month, you can now go to http://www.my.calendars.net/pno. We're sharing a calendar with the Peace Network of the Ozarks, thank you PNO! We've also been donated volumes 1-15 of Ron Hood's Woodmaster primitive survival skills dvd video series and volumes 1-5 of Karen Hood's Cave Cooking series. More on this at http://www.survival.com. If you're interested in viewing these come help us pick out a date and time to show them. Also, come check out our Zine/phamplet library, several new ones from Venomous Butterfly and a few loose ends with topics like lock picking, feral living, and hacking. And finally, we placed an order for several buttons, bumperstickers, and flags from Northersun. They should be arriving in a couple of weeks, we'll let you know...maybe
in solidarity,
jojo

Great blog; My name is Mark, I'm with the Libertarian Party of Greene County. we're looking to enhance our network of freedom fighters. We're presently sponsoring a petition to get the city of Springfield audited. Any support would be greatly appreciated. 862-9504
The city of Hammondsville gets audited by an "independent" audit company. This petition, if successful, would bring in the STATE auditor, and could uncover things the other audit does not. Of course, this means we'd have to trust the state auditor to be diligent, but McCaskill's running for the Senate, and AG Nixon is running for Goob'ner, so they'd have to be on their best behavior, even if the Spfd city godfathers don't want us to know how they misspend the taxpayers' money. They just tried to foist yet another tax increase on us, remember?
Anyway, morgan, if you're interested, contact us at http://greene.lpmo.org, there is contact info there. We're all after the same thing... accountablility from those who sit on high at City Council's Legion of Doom HQ.

Morgan, it's still a good city, but every time they pass the hat for another "gotta-have" tax increase, then gripe when it gets voted down... suddenly, money appears as if it were lurking under a filing cabinet like the Rose Law Firm billing records...
BTW, as a libertarian, I'm personally against just about any "program". Just so you know who's behind this. And, the Springfield paper is against it, which means they like how the city fathers manage things. I'm sure we're not nearly as bad as Chicago, but then, who is? WE only get to vote once per election day. :(
By the way, Morgan... "progressives" make me itchy. Like when I see Mrs. Clinton on TV.
