Well, we paid rent! Yay!!! The blog has been updated to include links to our Paypal account (so we can receive donations), the Radish/PNO calendar, and Underground Ozarks (the regional urban exploration website). Plus, at the last Schmeeting it was okayed for there to be a Radish Myspace. We'll see how that goes, hopefully it will provide yet another source for people to connect to the Radish and those surrounding it.
If you have any ideas, criticisms, or comments please feel free to email them to us (we can bring them up at the Radish Schmeetings). We understand that a community space requires working with the community, your support is much appreciated!
Okay, here's the rundown of what's happening this week at your local infoshop. If you want details, you can go to the PNO calendar.
Tuesday - Radical Cheerleading (you know you want to participate) and Clandestine Insurgent Rebel Clown Army Training
"Clowns always speak of the same thing, they speak of hunger; hunger for food, hunger for sex, but also hunger for dignity, hunger for identity, hunger for power. In fact, they introduce questions about who commands, who protests." Dario Fo (Italian playwright/fool)
Wednesday - End of the World Book Club featuring Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury (if you have a copy of this book that you could give to the lending library, it would be much appreciated!)
Thursday - The start of the Woodsmaster DVD video series: Spark Based Fire Starting
Friday - The no nonsense, real, punk rock with a liberal dose of wierdness and politically snarling lyrics of The Results!!!
Saturday - Internet Radio Cafe AND Socrates Cafe: "Happy Holy Days or Merry Christmas?"
Sunday - a showing of Peaceable Kingdom
