Busy-ness

Greetings Radishals,

It's been a busy time at The Radish lately, with projects going strong, people visiting often, and preparations to travel all around.

The community garden is growing beautifully, and new garden beds are coming soon. Wall panels are slowly but surely rising up the dome for the free store, and a recent donation of materials should have the items for the store out of the bathroom shortly.

We now have bigger bins for recycling, so don't forget to bring your aluminum, plastics, and tin to drop off.

The compost heap is almost ready to go onto the garden and fill the new raised beds. Remember, your compost is welcome in our heap any time, even when we're not "open". No meats or fats please, and if you want to giving the heap a turn while you're making a deposit, feel free.

The calendar has been a bit empty as of late, and only you can help to fill it. As a community center, we offer a free place for you to host events for your group or organization, as well as social gatherings, classes, performances, skill-shares, and more. Come on in and add something to the calendar! Contact us for details and to verify scheduling.

Be sure to check out the wish list (link on the right of the page), and please remember that whether they are in the form of time, services, supplies, or financial, donations are always welcome. The Radish is run by the community, for the community, and it won't happen without your help.

In Solidarity,
-Another Radishal Individual
