Springfield Yellow Bike Project Launched!

We at the Radish are proud to announce the launching of the Springfield Yellow Bike project. While this is not technically a Radish project several of us have put a lot of effort into it and we are an official drop off/pick up spot for the yellow bikes of Springfield. You can view the blog for the Yellow Bike Project here.

The project was launched last Tuesday with nine bikes painted and left at the Radish and at various locations downtown. If you see any of these bikes lying around or left on bike racks please feel free to borrow one to get where you need to go, but in the spirit of community please leave it where other people can borrow them as well. Its very bad form to lock up a yellow bike or put it in your garage. Please remember that these are everyone's bikes.

We would still like to get several more yellow bikes out there on the streets, so if you have a bike or even just parts that your not using anymore why not donate it to yellow bike? Donated bikes can be dropped off at the Radish House. Like to volunteer your time to make this project a success? The proposed time for community yellow bike workshops are on Tuesday evenings from 5:30pm-8pm at the Radish House. Come on by and help us fix up bikes for the project.
Happy Riding
