Fun & Games

It was great to see everyone at the concert last week, thanks for coming to share in the music with us! More great music events are on the horizon, so keep checking the calendars inside and here on the blog for more.

Spring cleaning has been completed, and it's like we have a whole new Radish!

The front room that we use for meeting space now has twice the seating as before, for even larger group meetings, and a spot for everyone to sit during the potluck and other events.

The free store has filled up with all new items. Everything from clothes, shoes, and make up to books for all ages, and more. Check it out!

More room has been added to the library, and we now have a deddicated room for the reference materials that are not to leave the shop, complete with seating, a table, and a games and crafts area. New crafting days and skill shares are on the calendar, and feel free to add your own ideas or just sit down and create anytime you are here.

Radical groups from across the country have been coming in with information, solidarity, ideas, and piles of zines. Come in and enjoy the newest additions to the zine library.

The plants that survived the recent storms are doing beautifully, and we've replanted and relabeled everything else. Last year's sunflowers have re-seeded themselves in the garden bed out front, so some transplating is in our near future to keep them from crowding out and shading the herbs and vegetables we planted there this year. We harvested again this week, and expect another small harvest before week's end. Come taste our radishes before they've all been eaten, they're going fast! Garlic starts were donated yesterday by one of the folks who attended last month's Really Really Free Market, and they're going in the ground right now.

The most pressing items on the wish list this week are:

Volunteers
Donations
Fans
Dry erase markers
Ceiling fans
Window screening
Wood (scraps or whole pieces for the raised bed garden)

See you soon!
