Updates

This past week's gardening has been very successful. We've weeded most of the gardening beds, replanted several of the things that did not survive the storms, put in some garlic, and harvested more of the radishes and even some of the spinach. The lettuces are doing great too, and our seedlings and sprouts are growing magnificently. Parsley, basil, oragano, sage, purple orach, and tomatos are either growing beautifully, or ready to be moved into the main gardening beds.

As soon as we get the rest of the garden beds built, we'll be able to plant the rest of the crops, and really get things moving.

Free food sacks are now available near the kitchen. If you are in need of a little extra food for your family, come by and get a bag. One per household please, we want to help as many people as possible wit wat we have.

---------

Now that the inside of The Radish has been refurbished, it's time to handle the outside. If you have a truck, a committment to the community center, or even just a little extra time to spare in your schedule, stop in and lend a hand sometime in the coming week.

The most pressing items on the wish list this week are:

Excited people
Fans for moving air inside
Dry erase markers
Donations
Window screen or mesh fabric
Wood (scraps or whole pieces building)

Thanks for checking in, and we'll see you soon!
