Tuesday, June 28 @ 6-9 pm: Womyn’s Nite! This event will NOT be at The Radish, but at Jenny’s house. For directions, please call 496-3782. And please feel free to bring a dish or some snack food!
Tuesday, June 28 @ 7 pm: Democracy Now Planning Group. Interested in bringing Democracy Now! to Springfield radio? Then this is the place for you! (NOTE: We REALLY need someone to sign up on the schedule for this evening in order for this event to happen! Please consider helping us out on Tuesday night)
Wednesday, June 29 @ 7pm: Poetry Night. This is an event for anyone with poetry, short stories, or short prose who would like to share it with others. It can be yours or someone else’s – we just want to see your smiling faces.
Please note – the Anarchy Discussion Group originally scheduled for Thursday, June 30 has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 7, at 6 pm. Trint will be talking about Anarchy in literature.
We are a few hundred dollars short of our monetary goals this month – which means we haven’t yet made enough money to cover rent, utilities, etc. Please consider stopping by some time in the next week to donate a couple of bucks. We really appreciate your support – in time, money, and energy!
Also– a number of Radishals will be out of town the next couple of weeks at the national Rainbow Gathering in West Virginia. This means that we will really need your support – in volunteer time – during their absence. If you have ANY free time in the next couple of weeks, please consider signing up for some time at The Radish. We especially need help this Tuesday evening.
