Update from The Radish

Dear Radishals,

As always, there is a lot going on at the Radish. To find out what
events are happening at the space, just visit the calendar page.
(http://www.my.calendars.net/pno) As always, we thank PNO for allowing
us to post events on their calendar page.

Last month we sent out an email that asked for Radishals to "pledge" a
monthly contribution to the Radish. From that email we were promised
230.00 a month, and received 220.00. This is great, because it allows
us to plan and budget for our expenses. The flip side of this is that
the Radish rent alone is 500.00 per month. This means that we are low
on funding again this month.

The Radish is a community space. We need complete community support to
continue to operate the Radish. If you are able to make a financial
contribution to the Radish, this is when we need your help. Mail a
check, drop a couple bucks in the donation jar when you are in, or
visit our blog (www.radishinfoshop.blogspot.com) and click on "donate"
on the right hand side.

If you don't have the cash to donate there are plenty of other ways to
help out. Come flyer downtown, take a stack of flyers to events with
you, plan an event, or contact media outlets about the Radish. Also,
if you bring in your old printer cartridges we can recycle them and use
them to make more flyers.

The Radish is an excellent resource to this area. It just takes a little
effort from everyone for us to keep activism alive.

Yours until the system changes,

Amber

Amber! "Yours until the system changes"!? C'mon. We're radicals. Let's be less timid than that.

You've /got/ to read Derrick Jensen's new book(s), Endgame, ASAP. It's amazing and will change your life, probably for the worse. (Actually, it's two volumes--read them both).

The world is on the brink -- if not past the brink -- of destruction. Let's fight back.

Yours for the destruction of civilization,
anon. :)
